Northbridge Physiotherapy

Our physiotherapists have post-graduate qualifications in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, and will recognise areas of instability and weaknesses that are affecting you. Then they’ll devise a programme, using structured gym-based exercises and Pilates Method principles, that’ll address your issues and make sure strength building is done with total movement control.

We ensure our physiotherapy and Pilates assessments are set to the highest standard to accurately diagnose your injury and identify all its potential causes. From that knowledge we’ll come up with an individually tailored exercise program which includes important injury preventative strategies.

We will regularly liaise with your GP, sports/neurological/orthopaedic specialists, allied health practitioner (e.g. exercise physiologist, osteopath/chiropractor) or personal trainer so that we stay on top of your health management and ensure that your progress is consistently aligned with your fitness goals.

We use the latest movement specific, manual treatment techniques which are a more efficient way of addressing the structures involved with your movement impairment compared than the traditional physiotherapy modalities (e.g. ultrasound or electrical stimulation).
